Beacon Theatre: Burns Lake, BC

Right off the Yellowhead Highway in Burns Lake, you'll find the community organized and run Beacon Theatre. After Burns Lake went a number of years without a theatre in town, a couple of years ago a group of residents gathered together and created the Lakes District Film Society. The society brought the community together and raised enough money to renovate the theatre and bring in the latest digital projection. The society continues to run an excellent source of entertainment for the Burns Lake residents.
